THERE YOU ARE, OLD FRIEND!

"There You Are, Old Friend!" (7-18-16 007v3) was just taken yesterday and fixed up a wee bit this morning. This tree is quite truly an old friend. One I hadn't visited with in close to six years until yesterday, when I made the walk (at last) all the way to the ocean again. On the way back I sat for a bit in its welcome shade on my walker (I took it so I can sit when I need to, for less long walks I just use my walking stick) and kept my hand on its trunk. Wishing I wouldn't be embarrassed to hug it, as I would have done in my long ago hippie years. Smile.
