MARSHALING THE FORCES

"Marshaling the Forces" (10-15-16 003v3) is one of those I've (obviously) fussed with endlessly. It kept coming close to something I could really like, then, nope, that wasn't it at all! I kinda, sorta gave up at this version. I do like the urgent motion I see in it. And it does have a vaguely "marshal" feel to it, as if the troops are being mustered for action. (A previous title was "Swords at the Ready.") Mostly, though, I have a couple of visual balance problems with it. Oh well, nothing's perfect.
