Ambush was taken a couple days ago. These are the colors as they were "live." It took a little crouching on my part (and careful leaning on my cane) to get a decent shot of these leaves with the back-lighting "painting" them colorfully. In fact, these bright colors weren't even apparent until I was almost past the bush at first. Then I felt hauled back to be sure I'd actually seen what I thought I had out of the corner of my eye, and started twisting and turning to see it through my camera.
