VIEW FROM THE MOUNTAINSIDE

View from the Mountainside (4-10-13 12431v2) is a recent re-working of a year-old photo. I was doing more of that cleaning out of my pic folders and, as always, I came up with nefarious plans for a few (other than deleting them). When I tried these colors on this one (after first torturing the photo into these shapes) I immediately thought of the sunsets we get around here over the mountains. BTW, the original is not of a sunset, but of yellow roses in a lot of messy greenery. Go figure! This is what can happen when you follow your nose.
