GET OUTTA MY HAIR, WILL YAH!

I offer "Get Outta My Hair, Will Yah!" (2-28-15 003v2a) as a bit of silliness. Even so, I did fuss with this pic, painting out bits of background distractions, improving the contrast, and saturating the colors a wee bit, not to mention how I tried crop after crop. Ideally, I could have moved that bird deeper into the plant/hair. But I have this sort of odd pride in not moving anything around for a shot (except, of course, for me and my camera -- smile -- or the occasional obstructing leaf). I like my representational pix to be "found photos." I want anyone viewing one to know that this was there, all one had to do was really look. And at the very least, I know that. In fact, as I've said here before I'm sure, taking photos has taught and continues to teach me to really look at things. Drawing, and later on poetry, taught me the same thing earlier in my life (drawing, as far back as early childhood). The world is the source, the library, the true paintbox ... and the prompting experience.
