FACED WITH HER HAUNTS

"Faced With Her Haunts" (2-12-16 003v5a) is from the same recent folder of pix as yesterday's post. I started it yesterday, having great fun rotating it various ways and applying the polar coordinates (polar to rectangular) filter after each rotate. Just to see what shapes would result. Then began using other filters to change the texture, introduce the lines, etc., etc. Also did a bunch of color inversion and re-inversion. When I came to it this morning it still needed something, so I added a bit of blurring and dropped out some yellow/green coloring (too cheerful for haunts, which it clearly had begun to look like to me). Then it felt as finished as any pic ever feels.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below “Previous Posts”) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
