HOPE BURNS

"Hope Burns" (3-24-16 015v2e) was just morphed now from a three month old pic. I've already got several other versions of this crop of a larger photo that looks straight down into the open center of a white rose with goldish seeds. Not an unusual shot for me either to take or to enjoy fooling around with endlessly. But this one's mood and title reflect my sense today that I'd rather not be hopeful about anything, it's too painful. Yet, as that famous line (from some poem I'm too lazy to google for) goes: "hope springs eternal," to which I'll add "anyway."

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below “Previous Posts”) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
