MAY POLE (2017)

HAPPY MAY DAY! Just in case it's not obvious, I morphed this pic ("May Pole [2017]" 4-20-11 10746v2a) especially for today. Harking back to the ancient roots of the holiday as a mating/fertility festival, with the May Pole as a phallic symbol. (Also explored this topic a bit today in my dreams&poetry blog post.)
