THE ROMANTIC

"The Romantic" (12-31-09 18678v3) is another of my oldest pix, posted here ages ago, and just today re-cropped a bit. I thought of it after trying to get pix of this month's gorgeous Cold Moon, with little success. Or rather, I caught this month's moon just fine -- it was the surrounding buildings that were a total flop. This pic's moon was in January of 2009, BTW. The full moons this time of year do tend to be rather spectacular. Also, I took this pic with an old, low pixel count Gateway (which company doesn't even make cameras anymore). I've yet to match this shot with (supposedly) better cameras. Well, there's one other I have of February's Wolf Moon a couple of years later. But given the number of full moon shots I try that's a pitiful success rate.
