SPRING AMBLES ALONG

"Spring Ambles Along" (4-8-18 014v2) is the first new pic I've posted here in a while, taken a couple of days ago, and just fussed at this morning. I've posted many other pix of this vine, in various seasons and weather and time of day. It grows along a long wall I pass regularly on my long walks and always grabs my attention ... whether I take out my camera or not. And has done so for the ten years I've been living here in CA. I didn't do a lot to this pic. Some sharpening, but also a small amount of blurring, believe it or not. Some increase of color contrast, and a bit of cropping, also. I initially attempted to change the cast of the light in this pic (i.e., the ever so vague, very pale, almost not green at all, glare, if you will) but this is how the wall looked in that mid-day light. So I've left it. And (need I even say it) I've already got other versions percolating ... rather "artsy" (i.e., not fully realistic) and I'm sure I'll develop some that are not at all representational. BTW, it looks like I'm going to be able to take more regular walks again. If I discipline myself not to go on them too frequently in any one week at first, but build up slowly again.
