Fading Dreams is another very old photo, just re-worked this morning. I realize that most probably the only antidote to my increasing disatisfaction with what I'm producing is to take some new photos. But I've just not been up to doing so. Therefore, I've been silencing that nigh on to compulsive urge I have every day to do something visual by working on older pix -- the newest taken weeks back, the oldest years ago.

Here's another version from the same original that "Fading Dreams" is from, Wake Me When It's Time To Go:

That title's almost bigger than the picture. Ah, well, I've never denied that I'm as verbal as I am visual in orientation. I hasten to add there's a tactile element involved. I can recall as a child the pleasure I took from the feel of manipulating crayons, paints, and pencils, paste and scissors. The same pleasure I get from typing and using a mouse. All that said, I hope something of what I was aiming for and almost "caught by the hem" is apparent in these two photo versions.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
