First, a P.S. to yesterday's post with another shot from the balcony over our pool. When my friend who's in this photo below saw it he asked if it would "migrate" to my blog. So I take that email comment with its tailing smiley face as his permission to post it here. It's called Emerging from the Caves:

This photo below is brand new, taken with that old camera I spoke of yesterday (an Exlim that the above friend gave me), and just edited this morning. Not mad about this pic, but at least I'm able to get about the same sorts of effects as I got with my camera (a Samsung), so I'll be comfortable until I get a better one than either. I'm calling this pic The Weave:
