THE NONCONFORMIST

The Nonconformist (3-14-14 009v3) was just taken and worked on yesterday. It's one of those I doubt can please anyone but me. It tickled me when I saw this scene. I can only imagine someone actually stuck that yellowing stag horn branch in that bush, as its stem is thoroughly wound between the branches. (And we haven't had any winds I know of wild enough to accomplish that, at least not since that storm we had at the beginning of this month.) So that thought makes me laugh: Hey, fella, I noticed and got the joke!

By the way, I did have to do some fussing with colors and contrast because the stag horn tends to take over the photo otherwise. And there are other technical issues I have with this photo. However, I still like it. As the saying goes, a face only a mother could love.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
