MAY MERRIMENT; & 100 DEGREES IN THE SHADE

"May Merriment" (4-24-14 008v7) above, is another of those pix for which I've made several different versions. I just so enjoy seeing what happens to those rose shapes and background shadows with each filter and color range I apply.

And "100 Degrees in the Shade" (4-24-14 008v9) below, is one of those other versions. The title and texture of it were clearly influenced by the heat wave we're having right now. Though, fortunately, my rooms tend to stay considerably cooler than outdoors, shaded as they are by trees.
