MAPPING THE ROSE
"Mapping the Rose" (10-26-12 12216v2a) is today's morphing of another of my archiving/deleting project finds. I don't often use this "glowing lines" filter these days. Though it does sometimes underlie a lot of other filters in morphed pix of mine, I've become sort of habituated to its effect when obvious. However, I like how detailed it is in this pic, almost lacy (largely due to previous filters applied). And the range of colors I was able to bring out in the lines with some more fussing is also pleasing to me. BTW, there is additional work I did on it, such as slight blurring, and cropping. Upshot? My map to an abstract rose center.
