DREAM OF THE WHITE ROSE

"Dream of the White Rose" (10-3-11 11324v2j) is an old photo just morphed this morning. And the original is truly a shot straight down into a wide open ruffly white rose. Need I even say it? I've several other versions I made this morning, in addition to those already in that folder for years. It's one of those blossoms whose shapes and shadows I find endlessly fascinating. However, the pic doesn't work "as is" (i.e., realistic), only as a jumping off point for my imagination.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below “Previous Posts”) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
