SEMAPHORE

"Semaphore" (5-14-17 004v2b) was just fussed yesterday out of a very new pic. I frequently pass this tree on my walks and this was the first time I've taken any shots of it. I was actually trying to capture the contrast between the bright yellow dandelions and tiny purple flowers around its "feet." But that came to nothing as the sun was too bright on the yellow and other patches of the pic. But in trying for that pic, I had become so fond of the tree's trunk and large curvy branches that I went haring off after a version emphasizing them. This is one of four versions in the folder at present. :-) I'd suggest clicking on the image in order to see the details; I fudged a lot with the "texture."

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time on scrolling down. See the Archives listing in the right hand column (below “Previous Posts”). And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
