TAKING A STAND

"Taking A Stand" (2-15-17 005v9) was just lightly fussed from the several month old original pic. It's very close to the original (for a change :-D). A bit of cropping, some color work (for contrast mostly), and darkening the color in one very small spot to bring it out a little bit more. I've posted other, older versions of this same pic here months back. All "realistic," but very artsy in coloring and texture, some looking like night shots. However, I've always really liked the original and today for the first time I decided it was pretty much fine, as is. Despite that somewhat top heaviness due to the shadowy leaves on the tree. My feeling today: that the brightness of the sun streaked grass beneath balances that out. Well, maybe not. Nu? I like it anyway. BTW, it's ROSH HASHANAH (year 5778) in the Jewish tradition. May this new year bring health, happiness, peace, and prosperity to all.
