SNOWPACK DREAM IN A TIME OF DROUGHT

"Snowpack Dream in a Time of Drought" (11-29-15 8391v9) was morphed just now from a very old pic of mine. Yeah, I know, that's a mouthful of a title. But it's what I see. The source photo is one of those that's always been massively problematic when I try to fix it up. Yet I've also always liked a lot about it. I may yet find a way to work with it and leave it realistic (lovely white roses against dark greenery). For now, at least this morph was fun to make and pleases me. Actually I should admit I saw one way before I resorted to morphing, to possibly let this pic be it's representational self. It would require a great deal of painstaking painting out, though. With no guarantee the results would be satisfactory. So, I rest with this morph (and another already in the folder from this morning's work). BTW, today's pic is one of those that looks better in a larger version. So click on the image, if you're interested.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
