A BURNING ISSUE

I just finished morphing "A Burning Issue" (10-20-09 7665v2d) from a very old photo, one of my oldest in fact. It's one of those rare times in which I had not even an inkling where to start, much less where I wanted to go with it. I just kept clicking on filters and such at random. Until the blossoms disappeared altogether, then I began choosing what to do with more intent. When I say "choosing," it's not a willful sort of choosing. It's more as if I'm letting myself be pulled along, and enjoying the ride.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below “Previous Posts”) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

* * * *
‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
