BORN OF THE LIGHT

"Born of the Light" (10-7-15 003v3h) was just completed this morning, from a different shot of the same fern pictured here yesterday. Yeah, I went a bit nuts with the "liquify" filter. I was initially just trying to explore its ways (which I hadn't really done before but superficially). Not intending to produce something printable/postable. But wound up with a slew of different versions of the same source pic after further heavy morphing with other filters and such. Not sure what I ultimately think of any of them, even this one which (right now) is my favorite of the batch. However, I am sure I like the feeling I get from this one. It's much how I feel when looking down into that constantly unfurling fern.
