THE MOUNTAINS MAKE AN IMPRESSION

"The Mountains Make An Impression" (11-24-15 053vb) was just morphed yesterday from (yup!) an old version of an even older pic. I'm probably mostly drawn to its very vague resemblance to the impressionist style of painting. Which is the result of using the ocean ripple filter on top of glowing lines, in a pic that had already been heavily fudged with in other ways. I've often thought if one of these massively fussed with pix of mine could be reverse edited that it'd be like an archaeological dig, layer after layer after layer. Of course with nothing quite so interesting at the bottom as an ancient unknown dinosaur bone or shard of pottery. Smile.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below “Previous Posts”) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
