PARADISE WAY

"Paradise Way" (2-6-17 005v7) is a very new pic just fussed into presentable shape today. I often walk to the beach overlook past this long stretch of birds of paradise plants. The time of day I take the walk is not optimal for snapping pix (angle and intensity of sun), so I was surprised this one came out as well as it did. Not only that, but I barely had to crop it (mostly just to fit the pre-set dimensions that the online printer I use requires, should I want prints), intensified the colors only a wee bit, and painted out some tiny background distractions. It's a bit busy compositionally, but I like that in this pic for some reason. Maybe because that's the feeling I get as I roll by these plants with my walker: things are abuzz and proudly seeking careful attention without admitting to it (smile).
