The above version of an old photo, just re-worked today, is called By Fall's Light.

The one below is a new version made this morning of another shot taken that same day over a year ago, Fall's Umbrella:


Can you tell I'm being influenced by memories of spectacular fall leaf displays I remember from when I lived in New York? In these photos I'm just trying to get at the light that one sees. I also really enjoy the curves on that plant (cactus? succulent? neither?). I don't think either picture as I've re-worked it really captures fall light as I remember it. But they do bring out those curves.
