Duet is from that recent new batch of pictures, re-worked yesterday. Omigosh! I think having worked on this and it's association for me to singers is why I dreamed I was singing all sorts of songs last night. Odd, I sort of like this photo but did not enjoy those songs in my dreams. They all had such positive, even saccharine lyrics that clashed with the overall depressive setting of my dreams (and on-going waking mood). But back to this photo: I did lots of fussing with it. It's been cropped way down, colors inverted and changed again, with some sharpening and "despeckling." Though the petals wound their ways back through all this to a similar color as the original (which is a very pale yellow with deeper yellow centers) the outcome is vastly different in effect. Not to mention I really like that fuchsia, like lipsticked lips.
