TAKING A LEAP
Taking A Leap is a recent re-working of a very old photo. What can I say about it except that its colors and shapes captivate me. That's not to say my critical eye is totally closed today (it never is). But, hey, today I'm quite willing to overlook small potatoes in favor of this leaping archaic marine creature (which is what I see in it). I should add that this is another version of one of my favorite trees around here and I didn't twist or modify those curves and shapes. That's how this sort of tree grows. I wonder if this transplanted New York City resident will ever get jaded at the sight of such marvels growing live, right in front of me.
