WHO NEEDS COLOR?

"Who Needs Color?" (4-3-12 11530ev6) is from a very old photo and is (as I often say here) one of many versions from the same original pic. I had lots of fun this morning making this particular version. I originally wanted to post a realistic yellow rose in memory of my mother (whom I've been thinking a great deal about recently), but I think I may have about had it for today with seriousness and heavy emotions. As once I started looking at pix I found I just wanted to fool around and see what would happen. I've also been working a bit more recently in black and white. So, "Who Needs Color?" resulted. (If you'd like to see a very different sort of black & white photo of mine, click here.)

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
