THE STORM HAS PASSED
"The Storm Has Passed" (4-8-15a 022v2) is a rare bird in my thousands of photos. One that was barely fussed with at all, not even cropped (just re-sized for posting online). All I did was to lighten it a wee bit and then saturate the colors ever so slightly. I wasn't anymore careful than I always am, trying to frame a decent shot. It was just the luck of the light I suppose. Or maybe percentages. (Even a stopped clock is right two times a day, after all.) Wish I had the same luck with all the other pix I took yesterday of roses with rain drops on them. Those that work at all need a lot of cleaning up (painting out of distractions). But back to this pic: I could only wish that the greenery on the lower left were a little less dark. I keep telling myself, however, that it's balanced by the dark areas on the lower right, making a sort of frame. Oh, and yes, we had some rain yesterday. "Some" being the operative word there. But every bit helps. If not with the drought, at least with aiding water conservation a jot.
