DREAMING OF WATER

The garden statue in "Dreaming of Water" (8-10-10 10018v5) has been gone from our promenade for a long time. I miss her and all the efforts I used to make to get good shots of her. She was moved around on occasion but always wound up partially obstructed, or with distracting background windows or equipment against a wall. So much so that the original shot for this pic was actually just a fast toss off. One I had no real hopes would work out. And it didn't. At least not until I came across it in my on-going archiving/deleting project these almost 4 years later, and refused to give up on it. I had great fun making other versions of this crop, but like "Dreaming of Water" the most. (And, yes, that title does partly reflect the drought here in CA.)
