THE INEXTRICABLE MIX

"The Inextricable Mix" (5-2-10 10052v7e) was just thoroughly fudged out of an old version of a very old original pic. Kinda, sorta how I think we all are, really. We either except the incredible mix we and others are, or go on trying to extricate what we want from a mix or give up and walk away. More and more I see that first option as the only life affirming one. Anyway, it was fun letting this version of this very old pic emerge as I fussed at it. It really wasn't where I was headed at with it. E.g., the working title that was in the back of my mind from the start was "Light Always Slips The Grip." (Titles occasionally occur to me early on for non-representational pix and then tend to influence my editing.) BTW, those little wavy dark lines are from the filter "craquelure." One I used to hardly ever apply, but have begun using a little as those lines can be small and very regimented or like they are here, or any number of densities and clarity in-between.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time on scrolling down. See the Archives listing in the right hand column (below “Previous Posts”). And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
