FIRST DAY OF CHANUKAH

Chanukah started last night, which means the first candle was lit. So I suppose today would be considered the first day of that wonderful eight day festival of light. I hope I'm not stating the obvious (I have been accused of doing that) but this old photo of mine has always put me in mind of a candle being lit, and even more so of a life blooming under the touch of the Divine.
