Today's post is total self-indulgence. Not that previous posts haven't been, but here I'm playing around even more with color, with little to no idea whether it "works" in any of the three versions of the same photo below. Only that I enjoyed doing it and looking at the results. (The original and these versions are all very new. I'm always delighted at how our rose garden produces some of it's best blooms at season's end.)
I've not determined titles yet for these three, therefore this is [Version One]:
Here's [Version Two]:
And last is [Version Three]:
I'm even wondering if leaving them titled with version numbers might work, since their colors are so far from natural. (I have thought those two buds look a bit like little flames or horns, but couldn't get any further than that.) I'll think more on titles, if I decide the photos are worth any further fuss.
