Argh! It took a small forever this morning to find a photo that I had the patience to really work with. And of course this resultant A Nip in the Air has probably prompted me to post it because of its colors more than anything else. Then again, I also enjoy the "texture" that shows in the petals and their shapes.

But of course I couldn't leave it at just one version, so I made another one. Which, given my fondness for the purple family of colors, I'm surprised to say I may like a wee bit more. It's cripser, like lettuce. (Oy, sorry, I'm in a silly mood, I'll blame it on the new year.) In any case, here's Illusions of Spring:
