Fanfare is a brand new revision of one of my oldest photos. There's lots of pix I place in that "oldest photos" category. The first year I took pictures just about every day (and I took as many as a hundred on one walking trip alone). Even after thorougly weeding out those oldest folders there's a considerable number of pix left to fool around with. And this particular one has always challenged me so I keep returning to it. I could still wish for better resolution, but it was taken with a low pixel count camera. Then there's those repeating sharp edges, they do odd things when colors are changed and I attempt to sharpen the focus. All that said, I'm not any more unhappy with this new revision of an old photo than I have been with most of the pix I've posted here recently.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
