Blue Mood, above, is a new photo, and the first of three versions I've made of it. I think I like it most of the three, but that may be more reflective of my own mood than any critical eye I may be applying.

I'm refraining from explanations and excuses, reminding myself that the operative word in the title of this blog is "trying."
