FROM SUNLIGHT...

"From Sunlight ..." (3-9-11 10634e2 & HAIGA) is an old haiga (very briefly put, illustrated haiku) of mine. A few days ago I posted an even older one. So it seems I've gotten my taste stimulated again for this sort of photographic use. It remains to be seen, though, if I make any new ones. As I said in that recent previous post, it takes a lot of work. And in my defense, work that often goes no place. Finding the right photo, font, placement, contrasts, etc., etc. is not easy. At least not for me. Not that I mind hard work. Just that I'd like it to be productive more often than not. And I haven't found that to be true when trying to develop a photo haiga. But, we'll see, especially as I now have the Photoshop program that offers more options for editing than I was working with when I developed this haiga. BTW, the text on this haiga is more accurately termed a monoku, simply put, a one-line haiku.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
