SERPENT'S TONGUE

"Serpent's Tongue" (10-1-09 7249v4) is yet another I came across as I'm going through my over 10,000 pix. Actually, to be more accurate, I just morphed this version this morning from a years old morph I found in that on-going archiving/deleting work. (BTW, those are the shapes of the petals in the original pic. I.e., they've not been distorted in Photoshop, though I did do plenty else to it in that program. I often point this out because one of the things that draws me to photograph something is its enticing shapes/lines. Meaning I don't always feel the urge to distort them, even if I'm torturing it beyond recognition in other ways.)

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
