ABANDONED

"Abandoned" (8-10-14 024v2) is from another going on two year old photo, just worked on this morning. I'm often drawn to take pix of the stuff that winds up in this wooden tub that is home to a fir tree. The tub's contents (other than the fir itself, of course) change rather regularly. But it never looks cleaned out and I don't ever see anyone looking into it as I do. So I imagine some elfin spirit standing over it in the wee hours of the night adding to, taking away from, and rearranging its store of broken, tossed away gems.
