SPINNING GOLD

"Spinning Gold" (10-27-15 021v4c) was just morphed from a very old version of an even older original pic of mine. As I often say here, I also have many other versions of this crop of the original. If you'd like to see another one, here's the link to the poem and pic I posted to my dreams&poetry blog this morning. I had fun using a wee bit of Photoshop's "liquify" filter on the dreams&poetry blog version. Just enough to emphasize the sort of downward or melting look to it all. It was already rather "drippy." Which you can see in the pic above. However, in "Spinning Gold" I emphasized the scratchiness over the drippiness (no use of liquify, mostly use of color contrast and sharpening).

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time on scrolling down. See the Archives listing in the right hand column (below “Previous Posts”). And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
