SHADOW SHOW

For some time I've thought I might make it a morning meditation to go for an early morning photo walk. The light at that time is so different from any other time of day, and of course the sun's position in the sky creates intriguing shadows. Somehow, though, my warm bed and interesting dreams always beat out that idea. Only if I have some sort of early morning appointment (such as to see a doctor) do I ever manage to make it up that early. I hasten to add I'm not even sure that "Shadow Show" was an early morning shot. It might have been taken when the sun was getting low in the sky. All I'm certain about is that it was taken a year and a half ago in that wonderful stand of cannas on our grounds.
