FRUITS OF FALL
"Fruits of Fall" is another one that is not necessarily one of my best. But it's also another one of those for which I have a certain affection. I remember the beautiful November day I took it in 2009. I've noted over the four fall/winters I've been living in California how the sparse fall/early winter roses in our community's memorial garden are often the most beautiful.
Re: the angle of this shot. When I pulled my camera out I was wishing I could get in closer (the above is cropped from a distant shot) and down more on the right to get a better angle on that big bloom. But the reality of my knee arthritis, the rough ground, and rose bush crowded area did not permit this. I was going to go on about the colors (which I have only very slightly "saturated") and the camera I was using. But no more apologies for what I like. And I do like this photo.
