For a change Heavy Weather is a new edit of a photo only three months old. Actually, I don't know why I keep commenting on how long I've had a photo sitting around before working on it. You'd think I'd had some sort of career in photography, going way back. I don't; I'm a newbie still by anyone's measure, especially in terms of my technology skills. Maybe I'm just acknowledging in an odd sort of way that tempus fugit, especially at this end of life. Even as I continue to try to make some sort of sense or order out of what has gone before.
Back to the photo: it's (what a surprise!) color inverted. Then I tried all sorts of other colors, even making the picture mono-toned. But I kept coming back to another favorite editing choice, the purple family. In my defense, I think it really does look best in these purples. They give it a sort of wintery gravitas that is still lovely to look at.

See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.
