Stealing the Spotlight is a recent photo, revised a couple weeks ago. Not much else to say about it. Except that it's the sort of shot I keep trying to take. It's difficult to capture what is seen live with light coming through a leaf changing it's color dramatically, and not have the resultant photo seem totally photoshopped. This one was not even worked on in photoshop at all. And all I did to the color (in MSPictureManager) was to saturate it slightly to try to bring it up to my memory of the actual leaf's color. Yet it still has an artificiality that the live leaf did not. Ah well, challenges hopefully advance one's eye and tech skill, and at the very least are fun.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
