MANY ANGLES, ONE LIGHT; & THE FROST NEXT TIME

The source pic for "Many Angles, One Light" (9-13-10 10045v2) is from that same old batch of pix yesterday's are from. Of the same batch of palm fronds. But I did nothing to this one today other than to crop it. Then I spent a long time this morning playing around with those lovely patterns in Photoshop and came up with "The Frost Next Time" (9-13-10 10045v6):

When I say "play around" I do not mean I fudged with those lines and shapes. Those are from the source pic. Though I clearly used a slew of both texture and color filters, further cropped it, and turned it 90 degrees to the left.
