STILL GRACEFUL AFTER ALL THESE YEARS

"Still Graceful After All These Years" (9-2-18 002v5) was just fussed from a pic taken only a few days ago. It's right around the corner from the market I often walk to in Isla Vista. For ages I've thought to take pix of it, but it's setting makes that quite a challenge. As does the lighting during the time of day I'm always walking by it. However, I decided to give it a shot (literally, several shots). This crop is actually a compromise. I much prefer the shots that take in the entire tree. However, that then has to include a bunch of distracting bushes on the left, and a white R.V. on right. I have versions attempting to deal with these distractions but tend to think this more cropped in close shape is better. If not all that great. :-) And, yes, I do kinda, sorta identify with this old tree, hoping there's some grace left in this old broad, too.

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time on scrolling down. See the Archives listing in the right hand column (below “Previous Posts”). And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
