On the Path to Oz is now the ninth version of the same photo, from March of 2010. Hey, what can I say? It has very suggestive shapes and a delightful variety of colors with which to fool around.

I'm also becoming more and more aware of how important the relationship is for me between the picture and its title. In fact, more often than not if a title doesn't come along spontaneously that usually indicates there's something not right or not finished about the picture. I'm not suggesting this is true for anyone but me. And it was particularly true for today's photo because until the title occured to me I was very unsettled. I liked the re-working but it needed a name to be fully here.
