Warm For Your Form is an old photo just edited this morning. I'm most moved by it's color (though I do really enjoy looking at those petal shapes and the somewhat "silk flower" texture). When this color showed on the screen as I slid through the color spectrum I whispered "wow." I don't think I've ever gotten this particular color/shade before. Probably because I've not not started with a bright golden yellow rose. By the way, I'd have stayed with the golden yellow but a lot of the definition of the petals got lost in the yellow (as often happens with bright or white objects). So I decreased the gamma slightly (which darkens things) and then went to changing the color. I've also done a little sharpening. And some "despeckling" which can make things clearer and also look a bit as if they've been drawn or out-lined. However, it's not been color inverted (for a change).

NOTE: In most browsers you can click on a photo to view a larger version. There are many more photos posted here than show at any given time in this left-hand column. See the Archives listing (below Previous Posts) in the right hand column. And here’s the link if you wish to read an Introduction, Background, & Technical Aspects post about this blog.

‘til next take, may you enjoy life in the ever changing light,
