NO WAY TO SEE HER WAY CLEAR

"No Way to See Her Way Clear" (6-22-09 2656v13a) was just morphed from a very old version of one of my oldest pix. I was wandering through folders feeling lost. I've not been very happy to say the least with the pix I've been producing recently. Not to mention my increasingly deeply blue mood (which may, of course, be influencing what I fudge from pix). Anyway, I kinda, sorta like this one. As almost always, there are nits I could pick, but won't. Too tired of not trusting my view of many things in my life (while, at the same time, having to cope with what I do know to be true).

ON CLOUD NINE

"On Cloud Nine" (5-25-09 1726v2e) was just morphed from the same version of a very old pic as the one I posted yesterday. Nothing much else to say about it. Except that it's nice for me to note that even though I'm in rotten space, I can still produce something with a more "up" theme. (Of course, that does not say what I actually think of this pic now that it's posted. As often is the case, I'm somewhat disaffected.)

WALKING ON WATER

"Walking on Water" (5-25-09 1726v17) is a brand new morph (that has several older morphs beneath it) of one of my oldest pix. It was a bit like walking on water at this point to keep it from going wonky after all that editing (smile).

IT'S OVER

"It's Over" (1-4-10 18738e) has been posted here before, and maybe more than once. It's one of my really old fave pix, taken on my birthday in 2010. So it's a birthday gift to myself to re-post it, as today (at 1:31 am) I turned 73. Unfortunately, it's mood also reflects mine. However, maybe that will change as it's just 11:00 am and I've already had one visitor at my front door wishing me a Happy Birthday, a telephone b'day call, and several emails. I'll have to be awfully determined to stay feeling miserable if this keeps up.

HOW SHE SEES IT

"How She Sees It" (12-21-16 001v2b) was just finished (finally! I've been fussing at it since I took it just before Christmas). Still not all that certain about it. But once I gave up on a large crop that included more of the scene but also a big distracting bush on the left, I felt much better about its composition at least. (Even though I lost some lovely shadows from that bench.) That "rainbow" was introduced vaguely at one point in all the fudging by something I did in Photoshop. And I decided to go with it and emphasize it. As that's the feeling I often get sitting at that bench without any rainbow in sight at all.

THE WAY HOME

"The Way Home" (12-19-16 002v2a) was just "finished" this morning from a very new pic. Still have a problem with the lower portion of that white light that's "blooming" on the ocean. But overall, I do like it. Even if the symbolic path offered is a rather sad proposition (blocked, and after that, walking on water!), it's goal is at least (to me) beautiful to contemplate. Maybe it's my 73 birthday coming up Wednesday that's aggravating my on-going miserable mood. There's plenty to be grateful for, and believe me, I am. It's just that also hauling around this other internal stuff does get to be more than a bit much at times. And if it weren't for sights like these, after a wonderful walk to get to it, I'm not sure I could stay mindful of gratitude. (Hm, maybe that's a good exercise for my birthday evening: actually write out a full gratitude list. Haven't done that in years.)

DREAMING OF SPRING

"Dreaming of Spring" (12-15-16 025v2b) was just fussed out of a two week old pic. Yeah, winter's just started and I'm seeing spring dreams already. Mixed feelings about the pic, but I like it enough to post it. I'll close with my best wishes for a Happy New Year for all.
