NATURE'S CROCHET

"Nature's Crochet" (7-30-09 4671v4[3]) was just fudged out of an old version of one of my oldest pix. It's another example of the "meh" work I'm producing these days. I'd like to think, mostly due to the lack of an editing program I can learn without feeling like I'm way down the road to dementia. And that's only partly a joke. In any case, I see a tree in this "abstract" and wanted to somehow include "tree" in the title. But could not find a way to do so without producing a name for this fussy pic that's more like a poem all by itself. Yeah, there's no pleasing me today. LOL...and so I think maybe with good reason. Not everything (or even a rare thing) can be a masterpiece. (BTW, this is one of those pix best viewed in a larger version, so just click on the image if you'd like to see the details of the "crochet.")

OUT OF THE CHASM

"Out of the Chasm" (Screenshots-many 2-10-19[20]) was just fudged today out of an already massively fudged with old photo of mine. No surprise, then, that I see some sort of burning creature or disaster, surfacing within its busy shapes and colors. :-) Not all that happy with this pic, but can't do much better by it given all I have is Windows10's very limited Photos program. (I'd do much more with it's focus/clarity.) I continue to miss Photoshop V.11 terribly. And still haven't had (and may never have) the energy and focus to teach myself that really old version of PS I do have, or to struggle with endlessly dense GIMP. Even SUMOPAINT, which I'd begun to develop a working relationship with a couple of years ago, is beyond me now. Sometimes getting really old sucks the big one. Most of what little energy I have these days goes to trying to clean out (and clean up) my rooms. And my inner life ... that chasm of self has gotten awfully crowded with junk and unwelcome stuff over the 11 years I've been here in CA.
