THE PATH AHEAD

"The Path Ahead" (10-10-18 007v3a) is a new post at last. I.e., I didn't copy over the coding for a previous post of it here, as I now have my 12,000+ pix on this new 'puter. I'd be happier only that process of getting them onto the 'puter and how it then effected One-Drive storage drove me out of what little mind I have left. The reality is that "the path ahead" of me may very well be accepting increasing limitations, both physically and mentally. Not to mention, I've never done well with tech stuff. It's almost always reduced me to a pile of writhing nonsense. At least I can say I like this pic. But in just posting it I realized another issue that awaits my getting a good pic editing program on this 'puter (I almost typed 'puker): I have no way of re-sizing a pic. I had to wait as this loaded in a larger size. And should I want to use it on my desk top, it will hog all the space! Yeah, there's no pleasing me today. Oh, I forgot to complain that I can't be sure any new pic editing program I get will "work and play well" with my new 'puter. What I went through just getting those 12,000+ pic files copied from my old external back up drive to this computer ... it's better left unsaid as I'd not be using very nice language. So I can't rest easy that a new program will find, much less work well with my pix. And I'll have to fuss and drive myself even crazier, and/or chat with a tech (another horror, as nice as they are they just don't get it and rarely fully disclose necessary info).

ALL KNOTTED UP

"All Knotted Up" (1-13-17 d&p, 4-20-09v4a adobe) is best viewed in a larger format, so just click on the image if you're interested in the details. I wandered through the pic posts accompanying my poems on my dreams&poetry blog this morning. Looking for a pic of mine that I felt like posting here now. I don't usually go to my dreams&poetry blog for pix as I tend to get caught up then in the poem of mine accompanying each pic. And that's exactly what happened today, to an even greater extent than usual. Didn't help my miserable mood one whit. But I will admit that I was actually liking most of the pix. Or at least, not massively disliking them and wondering why I'd ever posted them to begin with. Weird.

MOON DOG

"Moon Dog" (6-3-14 tthabol, 6-2-14 016v5 adobe) is another I'd edit if my new 'puter were set up for that with all the proper pix of mine and editing programs. But I still like it despite the fact I'd like to trim the top and bottom borders a little bit. I particularly enjoy posting it today given the biggest full moon of the year is out there now. And what I have always seen in this going on 5 year old pic is a dog raising his muzzle to howl at the moon. (Mouth on middle-right side of pic.) Which is what I'd very much like to do right now. A series of loud, long howls.

QUITE A STRETCH

I'm re-posting "Quite A Stretch" (5-20-14 tthabol, 3-21-10 10008 adobe) more because I haven't been able to take the (long for me) walk over to I.V. to visit with this tree, than because I think it's such a good shot. Although this pic does remind me of the feeling I get looking up into its branches, it leaves much else to be desired as a photo. However, it was a pleasant surprise to come across it as I wandered through my old posts here looking for a pic to put up today. A treat for sore eyes, as the expression goes. BTW, I'm not all that enamored of the title I chose for it back in 2014 when I edited it and named it. But I'll stet the title, as how likely is it anyone other than myself will ever contemplate it anyway? (Who's in a funk today? Moi?)
